Candidates will work directly with the assigned Proposal Manager, long hours, ability to be at customer site for production or at PGPC HQ
- Must have ability have initiative and creativity and 5+years of applied experience with proposals related to Federal Government and commercial bids
- Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel a must
- Ability to multi task, team player, role your sleeves up and do what it takes to get it done,
- Become familiar with Section L and M of the RFP monitor for releases of amendments
- Notify the Proposal Manager if you notice something is not compliant
- Gather existing materials or work with designers and writers to create new artwork or text
- Import text and graphics into desktop publishing software programs
- Position artwork and text on the page layout (find ways to get as much text into the doc as possible due to page constraints)
- Select formatting properties, such as text size, column width, and spacing (using Section L of the RFP)
- Check proofs, or preliminary layouts, for errors and make corrections
- Format documents for color reviews
- Finalize formatted documents for printing or electronic publication
- Final spelling, punctuation, and grammar check, develop Table of Contents (TOC) and figures, insert covers, link graphics to references and TOC
- Send final files to a commercial printer or print the documents on a high-resolution printer
