CHANTILLY, VA- August 3, 2018. With the end of summer right around the corner, parents everywhere are embarking on their yearly scavenger hunt for school supplies. Unfortunately, not all families have the financial means to procure the items required.

For several years, Northern Virginia Family Services has run their Back2School drive to provide kids and teens across NoVA with backpacks filled with the school supplies requested by their specific grade and county.

With supply lists in hand, the PGPC Team quickly headed out to help procure the needed items.

“It’s so very easy to take something like this for granted. School and office supplies always seem to be around, until they aren’t,” statedPatricia Gorgone, PGPC’s CEO/President. “This was a great opportunity to give back to the community, as well as make sure every child who walks into school on their first day can be confident that they have the tools they need to do their best.”

After a flurry of searching and packaging, the PGPC Team donated 18 complete backpacks that ranged in type and supplies to serve children from Kindergarten through to High School.
